3. Scope
These terms govern the sale and supply of digital eSIM products and related telecommunications services made available through SimToRoam.
Unless expressly stated otherwise on a product page, SimToRoam products are digital services and no physical SIM card is shipped.
4. Products and Service Description
Product descriptions, coverage areas, supported destinations, data allowances, validity periods, activation rules, and other plan-specific conditions are shown on the relevant product pages.
We aim to keep all product information accurate, but network conditions, partner availability, and technical requirements may change from time to time.
5. Compatibility
Customers are responsible for checking that their device supports eSIM technology and, where required, is unlocked and compatible with the relevant destination networks.
Compatibility may vary by model, manufacturer, software version, region, and carrier restrictions.
6. Orders and Contract Formation
By placing an order, you submit an offer to purchase the selected product or service. The contract is formed when we accept the order and provide confirmation, activation details, or digital delivery, as applicable.
We may refuse or cancel an order where necessary for legal, security, payment, fraud-prevention, or technical reasons.
7. Pricing
All SimToRoam plans are priced in GBP (British Pounds). Prices shown in other currencies are converted automatically for convenience.
Exchange rates may be updated periodically. Because some pricing is organised into pricing bands, small currency movements may occasionally result in slightly larger changes in displayed converted prices.
The final price will always be shown before payment is completed.
8. Tax
Prices are shown in GBP. Where applicable, taxes are handled in accordance with relevant regulations.
9. Payment
Payment must be completed before digital delivery unless explicitly agreed otherwise. Available payment methods are shown during checkout and may vary depending on order value, payment routing, risk controls, or technical availability.
Your payment provider may apply its own currency conversion, fees, or terms.
10. Digital Delivery
eSIM products are delivered digitally. Delivery is usually instant, but may occasionally take longer due to payment checks, provider delays, technical issues, or manual review.
Delivery may take place by email, app, web portal, chat, SMS, WhatsApp, or other supported digital channels.
11. Activation and Use
Activation rules vary by plan. In many cases, validity starts when the eSIM first connects to a supported network in the covered destination.
Customers are responsible for following setup instructions and using the product within the stated validity period.
12. Right of Withdrawal / Widerrufsrecht
Where mandatory consumer law applies, consumers may normally have a right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days.
However, for digital content or digital services supplied without a physical medium, the withdrawal right may be lost once performance has begun, provided that the customer has expressly agreed to the start of performance during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that the withdrawal right will be lost as a result. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
By ordering an eSIM for immediate or prompt digital delivery, you may be asked to confirm this before completion of checkout.
13. Refunds
Refunds may be available before activation and before use, subject to the circumstances of the order and applicable law.
Once an eSIM has been installed, activated, consumed, or otherwise used, a refund may no longer be available because the service has begun or been consumed.
14. Network Availability and Performance
Coverage, speed, availability, and service quality depend on destination, local conditions, partner networks, device compatibility, congestion, and factors outside our direct control.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or availability in every location.
15. Customer Responsibilities
- provide accurate order and contact information
- check device compatibility before purchase
- read plan details, activation rules, and destination coverage before purchase
- keep account, order, and activation details secure
- use products lawfully and in accordance with any fair-use or provider restrictions
16. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you are unhappy with a product or service, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
We are a member of an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme: CISAS, operated by CEDR. Eligible customers may refer unresolved complaints after following our complaints process.
17. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or losses caused by third-party network failures, device incompatibility, incorrect user setup, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
18. Data Protection
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Datenschutz / Privacy Policy.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in services, legal requirements, pricing, technology, or business operations. The version published on this page will apply to new orders from the date of publication.
20. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply and provide you with additional rights.
Where lawful and appropriate, disputes may be submitted to the courts of England and Wales, subject always to mandatory rights of consumers under applicable law.
