Activation Guide
Activating your SimToRoam eSIM is usually quick and straightforward.
Once your eSIM is installed, your device can connect to a supported network when you reach your destination.
1. Install Your eSIM
After purchase, you will receive your eSIM QR code and installation details. Use these to add the eSIM to your device in your mobile or cellular settings.
2. Turn On Mobile Data
Make sure the SimToRoam eSIM is selected as your active data line and that mobile data is switched on.
3. Enable Data Roaming
Some plans require data roaming to be enabled on the eSIM line in order to connect to supported partner networks.
4. Connect at Your Destination
Most plans activate automatically when the eSIM first connects to a supported network in the covered destination.
Important Notes
- Your validity period may start when the eSIM first connects to a supported network.
- You may need internet access or Wi-Fi when first installing the eSIM.
- Some eSIMs can only be installed once and may not be transferable between devices.
- Always read the product page for any plan-specific activation instructions.
If It Does Not Work Straight Away
- Restart your device
- Check that the correct eSIM is selected for data
- Confirm data roaming is enabled if required
- Make sure you are in a covered destination
- Check signal strength and try again
